Section 3: Fellowship Demands Renewal

True renewal begins with a return to your Creator’s original intent, aligning your mind and spirit with boundless possibilities.

You arrived in this world with your destiny embedded within you, created in the image of the Alpha and Omega, where the beginning already contains the end. We understand that the purpose of any creation is intrinsically placed within it. Consider the apple seed: its purpose is to grow into a tree that provides shade and bears fruits, which themselves contain seeds destined to become more trees, eventually forming an orchard. From the outside, it's hard to imagine that something so small could encapsulate such vast potential, but indeed it does. Similarly, within you lies potential as expansive as orchards, waiting to be realized and nurtured.

The fundamental difference between you and an apple seed lies in self-perception and self-education. An apple seed, lacking eyes or the ability to see its own smallness, harbors no doubt about the greatness of its purpose and potential ordained by the Creator. It is immune to self-doubt because it does not possess the capacity for personal vision or reflection.

In contrast, humans, equipped with both sight and the ability to reflect, often find their faith and purpose challenged by their own perceptions and plans. Our own vision can sometimes cloud our ability to trust in the greater purpose laid out for us, leading to doubts that can hinder the fulfillment of our true potential. This is why it is important for us to renew our minds.

The concept of renewal is in line with much of what we have learned so far in this course. Renewal challenges us to return to our original mindset. This means returning to our child-like, imaginative and hopeful mind. Renewal calls for us return to the boundless, limitless, and powerful nature breathed into us at creation. Renewal is only possible with discipline and commitment. Adorning  renewed thinking asks of us to be willing to self-educate.  This process of renewal and self-education  requires us to die to any present version of ourselves that is not renewed.

The apple seed dies from its seed form and transitions to a plant that becomes a tree, that bears fruit, that bears more seeds, that becomes an orchard. The purpose and potential of the apple seed requires an eternity to fulfill. There is boundless potential for seeds to become more seeds, to become more orchards. The apple seed has a purpose that would take an eternity to fulfill. You are on a similar journey, and it all starts on the inside!
