Section 3: 10 Greater Tragedies Than Death

We know that a life that fails to fulfill its purpose is a far greater tragedy than death. What we may find ourselves then wondering and worrying about is; what causes a life to not fulfill its purpose. There are many things that can incite tragedy and derail us from our life’s true purpose. Yet, some of the most persistent and pervasive things that tend to derail us are not the things that we have been conditioned to expect. Instead, they are the things that we may tend to write off as “not a big deal,” or in some cases even things that we may erroneously assume are good for us.

Oftentimes, when we are challenged by life or feel threatened, we assume that it is some great force of darkness that causes it. Many believers find themselves blaming evil, and giving it far more credit than it deserves. While evil energies will manifest in your life as hindrances to your purpose and potential, these forces have no power in a life that is connected to the source and diligently living into purpose.

However, those less obvious things that do create calamity and tragedy for your divine purpose are interwoven into many of your day-to-day occurrences. Therefore, if we are not diligent to protect our purpose or our plans then we can easily be derailed from fulfilling our ultimate purpose.  Thus, instead of success being predictable, failure becomes predictable, and rather than death being a blessing it becomes a tragedy.

These ten things can take you off course and lead to the death of your purpose; good things, attraction, distraction, people, relationships, sin, procrastination, fear of success, impatience and compromise. Many of these things take root and manifest on the inside of you, rather than as a force external to you. And all of these things can be overcome through discipline, consistency and a commitment to maintaining a connection with your Source.

Life is designed to function by laws, therefore your success and the fulfillment of your purpose is controllable. Remember, the success of everything the Creator made reflects on the Creator's reputation, which is why the Creator desires your success even more than you do!
